Wild Plants for Food & Medicine –
A Survival School

• Fresh plant medicines are more potent and have more life force.
• Learn to identify and prepare plant medicine and food in season.
• Empower yourself with knowledge and self-reliance.

This exciting ‘Survival School’ is offered on request. Typically the series comprises 7 classes; however, contact Faye to customize the training to your needs and experience. The detailed course will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to identify, gather and dry medicinal plants as well as make a range of effective natural medicines, including tinctures, salves, vinegars and glycerines.

Studying with an experienced local herbalist is the quickest and safest way to learn how to identify plants, understand their uses and how best to prepare them. Faye will give you insights to hone your identification skills and sharpen your judgment. You also will get the local angle on plants, with important information that often is absent from regional- and national-level books. Faye's expertise and effective teaching style will help you build confidence in using nature's bounty.
